The Comprehensive Community Profile (CCP) is the cornerstone of ERCEGI’s Partnerships for Community ResiliencySM model and consists of data presented in a written report supplemented by a dynamic community asset map.

The purpose of the CCP is to help community stakeholders explore and understand their neighborhoods by providing data to identify key assets, resource deficits, and spatial inequalities and to note perceptions, needs, and goals of the local population. The data is then used by stakeholders to prioritize communal needs, create action plans, and establish networks that will strengthen bonds for better sustainability of effort and the assurance of a resilient, supportive community.

Based on a set of indicators, each of the 8 Zones in the Arlington 32211 area is reviewed and assessed as to its wellbeing rating in each of the 7 Key Areas (environmental, fiscal, intellectual, introspective, mental, physical, and social/interpersonal). The key indicators were established by researching averages and goals set by practitioners and institutes that specialize in each wellbeing area.

The rating for each wellbeing area has then been averaged to provide an overall score for that particular Zone and displayed in a table in the section titled Overall Wellbeing Ratings and Resiliency Status. As the name implies this section also addresses how well the community as a whole is doing in each of the six resiliency factors. Assets and deficits are presented for each of the factors to provide a picture of where the community is in establishing resiliency. Click here to access the full report.  If you have an interest in this product please contact Lisa Frisby to opt in the distribution list.
