Goals:
1. Promote healthy communities through grassroots mobilization—schools, nonprofits, faith-based, governmental agencies, and for-profit businesses.
2. Merge assets in pursuit of mutual goals to bring positive, sustainable change to a defined geographic area by identifying spatial inequalities and maximizing resources.
3. Improve the schools within a defined geographic area by networking community assets and cultivating strategic partnerships.
4. Ensure holistic balance through seven key areas of wellbeing: Fiscal Management & Stability; Environmental Security & Responsibility; Social & Interpersonal Relations; Intellectual Growth; Mental Clarity; Introspective Reflective; and Physical Fitness.
Primary Objectives:
1. to provide training/technical assistance to non-profits in organizational and program development, stakeholder engagement, leadership, and evaluation;
2. to oversee a competitive financial assistance program for participating organizations;
3. to educate the community about resiliency and the seven areas of wellbeing; and
4. to build the Collective Leadership model to garner resources and establish a sustainable infrastructure to monitor/maintain resiliency and wellbeing.
